Over the next few days, HaystackID will enable multi-factor authentication for your Relativity account. This is part of our expanded security policies to ensure that customer data and systems are protected and an element of our compliance with our SOC 2 Type II audit and ISO 27001 security standards. Once implemented, you will be prompted to enter a unique, one-time use code sent to your email account prior to accessing the Relativity platform in addition to entering your account password. You will be required to enter a newly supplied passcode each time you access Relativity.

How does multi-factor authentication work?
Once multi-factor authentication is enabled on your Relativity account, you will be prompted during the login process by a pop-up window labeled "Authenticate Login" for a unique one-time code which will be sent to your email account. After successfully entering your ususal Relativity password, you will receive an email with a one-time passcode. Once received, this passcode should be entered in the "Authenticate Login" window for successful admittance into Relativity.
What if I do not get an email with the code?
If you do not receive an email with a passcode during the login process, please check your spam folder for an email from "Auth-HaystackID-[Relativity Instance] @HaystackID.com". By default, the email will be sent to the same address as your Relativity username.
What if I want my passcode sent to a different email?
Please send a request to support@haystckid.com if you prefer the passcode be sent to an email which is different from your Relativity username. In the request please include the following:
Relativity username (email)
Relativity workspace name
Alternative email for passcode receipt
How long is the passcode active?
The passcode expires after 5 minutes.
Can I have the code sent to my phone instead?
At this time, all multi-factor authentications are available through email only.
