A Look at How Workflow, Analytics, and CAL® Can Make a Difference in Cost Savings
Our client, a global manufacturer, approached HaystackID to assist with processing, early case assessment (ECA), hosting, and managed review for a mid-sized, time-sensitive litigation matter. Our client collected and securely transmitted approximately 650 GB of data, comprising several million documents, to HaystackID for processing and hosting. We then worked collaboratively to create workflow efficiencies that yielded considerable cost savings. Together, the team created a workflow that used both structured analytics and technology-assisted review (TAR) to create a substantial and documented cost savings in the high six-figures.

How HaystackID Supported a Complex Information Governance Project by Establishing Practices and Protocols for Operationalizing Data Mapping Processes
As a leading provider of eDiscovery-centric services that support the complete information lifecycle from data creation to data destruction, HaystackID routinely is asked to offer expertise and support in helping clients establish and execute against data management requirements.
One example of this support is highlighted in this case vignette that shares how HaystackID, through the application of industry expertise, proven offerings, and best-of-breed technology, helped a well-known international organization develop data mapping practices and protocols that were operationalized as processes and utilized in the planning, preparation, and migration of a complex data set consisting of high-risk, sensitive, and low-risk data requiring management and migration.
As per Gartner “Organizations have found discovery to be the critical first step to identify and quantify areas of privacy risk. Security and risk management leaders must segment their approach against the three sources of privacy risk with a focus on actionable outcomes if they are to overcome workload paralysis.” When organizations need to understand and manage privacy risk through automation, HaystackID™ and our Enterprise Managed Solutions can help by blending state-of-the-art technology platforms with sophisticated workflow and curated reporting tools to address the challenges of privacy risk.
Gartner's recent research report titled Practical Privacy – Discovery Automation of Privacy Risk provides security and risk management leaders with information and insight that may help in the development of an operationalized privacy program.
