Employee Recognition
Alaric Geimer
Alaric went above and beyond for a high-priority WilmerHale matter. When dealing with large documents that the client could not open, Alaric worked through the night to manually downgrade native redacted cells so the client could make a re-production deadline.
Alex Luong
Alex was instrumental in accomplishing a majorly difficult LDS project in which the team had to manage data subject extraction and normalization for millions of data subjects in a multitude of foreign languages. Outside the scope of the extractions themselves, the added complication of the foreign language component made the task especially complicated, and the project would not have been successful without Alex's contribution to the team's efforts.
Ali Aman
As part of the Medialab in the Chicago office, Ali singlehandedly manages all EANs assigned to the team while the other Medialab members are occupied with evidence management tasks related to media destruction and evidence audit-related tasks. This increases his workload significantly.
Cailin Clements
Cailin took the initiative to monitor multiple email chains during her off hours and weekends and not only volunteered her weekend time for multiple hours to ensure that a deadline that may have been missed was accomplished but, by doing so, inspired others to join her for weekend and off-hours work to guarantee that a possibly missed deadline did not have to be pushed.
Cara Cipriani
Cara took the lead on working with a client to satisfy the urgent requests from the law firm working in the database while ensuring everyone understood that a delinquent balance was owed to HaystackID. She communicated timely with all parties and made sure everyone understood the situation. A majority of the balance has since been paid.
Chayce Heinen
Through the month of January, Chayce has been asked to go above and above his normal duties and support security within the building. Construction has been constant in the Chicago office, and we needed to have an examiner monitor contractors in the space as early as 6 am. Chayce takes public transportation, and it is an extra lift to make it to the office that early. Chayce was also a huge help with the IOS audit, which required extensive videos and documentation surrounding the Chicago office. The auditor was extremely happy with the details. These are responsibilities not generally assigned to our examiners. Chayce took all tasks with great stride and a positive attitude.
Christina Garro
Christina took the lead on a demanding and fast-moving EU cyber matter, working with counsel in a different time zone and working through several iterations of the notification list.
Christopher Crayne
Chris Crayne went on site for a 4-day project with a team to collect 200+ computers, which turned into 300+ computers. Chris worked 12 hrs. a day, which also required him to stay behind to complete the project the next week. Chris was a mentor to the new members on-site to ensure the success of the project. His efforts were above and beyond normal day-to-day duties.
David Doyle
David has been such an awesome team player, helping me track down the various Wyrick Robbins shipping sets and align Federal Express tracking numbers with MTIDs to help facilitate my location of passwords for evidence that was returned without CS team knowledge. He is consistently helpful and pleasant and is a real team player. Thank you, David.
Gabriella Campbell
Gabriella started with Haystack in Chicago in Oct 2023 in the Medialab, and with the move from Wayzata to Chicago, she has been instrumental in the organization and structure of evidence management to get the media in a state through which the company can generate revenue expected in the range of 3-6 million dollars annually.
Jackie Cohane
Jackie joined HaystackID just two months ago, but she has truly hit the ground running. She proactively began learning about existing clients and matters and has eagerly jumped into learning as much as she can about HaystackID workflows. She surpassed chargeability goals within her first month of employment and has already cemented herself as an integral part of the POD.
Jacob Hildreth
Jacob came in on holiday (day off) to put in extra hours on the San Rocco WIHA project and, with Tyler, was able to get mission-critical data completed.
Kenneth Julius Garcia
Ken was instrumental in accomplishing a majorly difficult LDS project in which the team had to manage data subject extraction and normalization for millions of data subjects in a multitude of foreign languages. Outside the scope of the extractions themselves, the added complication of the foreign language component made the task especially complicated, and the project would not have been successful without Alex's contribution to the team's efforts.
Matthew Sinner
Matt hosted a presentation for Active Learning with WilmerHale that was very well received. The presentation was put together very thoughtfully and touched on all the points Wilmer requested. I've received positive feedback from Wilmer regarding the presentation.
Paul Renzulli
Paul was able to start in his new position and jump right into an application that he hadn't used before, taught himself the applications, figured out the workflow, and was immediately able to work with the client to solve real problems for them. His ability to learn that quickly has dramatically assisted in our ability to keep the client happy.
Raymond Arroyo
Ray recently utilized his advanced technical skills to uncover hidden SQLite databases in a departed employee investigation. This provided positive proof of the suspicions our client had concerning the former employees’ activities and acknowledged his investigative expertise, leading to a successful outcome for the client.
Sean Chancellor
Sean is one of the newest members of the forensics team who joined as a Jr Forensic Technician. He was recently part of a team on an extremely quick-moving project where the client wanted to collect and preserve over 300 endpoints. Starting from day one of the collection, he was able to quickly pick up our "large collection" methodology and became a productive member of the team. He worked long 12-hour days, including traveling on weekends, without any complaints and quickly completed all the tasks assigned to him. He is quickly becoming a strong member of the team.
Tiago Deretti
Tiago is always available to handle any issues that come up and has done an outstanding job in being available at unusual times to ensure that our clients get a solution when they need it. He tirelessly works to get things resolved and is highly responsive to data operations needs.
Tuong Luu
Tuong continues to blend in seamlessly within the QC team, blending support of legacy BIA duties supporting Reveal and Axcelerate while learning brand new systems, processes, and workflows. Over the past few months, he has risen to any challenge and showed incredible growth. He continues to soak up knowledge of how we utilize Nuix and Relativity processing, and he quickly became proficient with data management and production QC processes. Tuong has fantastic attention to detail and is eager to learn how to handle new EAN types. He asks very good questions and quickly assimilates into the new role, becoming a solid and integral part of our team.
Tyler Waldrep
Tyler has been instrumental in helping the Automation team identify where the issues around PPTX processing were coming from. He was very diligent in updating the team. Secondly, Tyler has been making a noticeable effort to reply to Automation support tickets and resolve issues on his shift.
Vasileios Georgopoulos
Vas recently dove into an atypical project at a moment's notice. He went above and beyond (working late nights, holidays, and weekends) to assist with a series of time-sensitive, high-risk data migrations.
Zachary Yackel Besemer
Zach won us huge brownie points with our client by finding the proverbial needle in the Haystack. A Nixon Peabody matter came back to life after seven years. Counsel requested we reimage three devices we'd previously imaged in 2017. Counsel did not have the passcodes to these devices and was relying on HaystackID to provide them. 2017 predates EPM and SharePoint project summaries in Forensics, so there was no electronic record of the passcodes. Zach dug through box after box of legacy Chain of Custody documentation to find the forms associated with the devices and was able to find the passcodes we needed to proceed with the project. The client is ecstatic that we were able to deliver.
